After a welcome message from the managing director, Dr. Oliver Karall, the visitors went in several groups through some stages of our ATPL training. The steps of becoming a professional pilot were explained by our instructors: From the initial theoretical phase, the first flights up to the simulator sessions - the visitors got an interesting look behind the scenes. The opportunity to have a look of our simulator or closely watch the take-offs and landings of his daughter or son was an exciting experience for many participants. In addition, everyone was invited to see the working place of our students by climbing into the cockpit of our training aircraft.
With this event we want to give the families and friends of our student pilots a connection to their studies. By getting to know the environment and the background information on the ATPL course, all participants get an informative insight into our professional pilot training.
